Hotel Scandic Spectrum

VDC tools simplify complex construction

Hotel Scandic Spectrum at Kalvebod Brygge in Copenhagen will be Scandic’s largest hotel to date with 632 rooms, several restaurants and a meeting and conference department. The combination of the project’s size and technical complexity, as well as the location on Kalvebod Brygge having restrictive construction site conditions meant several digital solutions were required to ensure efficiency and successful completion. CN3 undertook the role as the contractor’s ICT / VDC coordinator and as assistant design manager to ensure collaboration between the project parties and the development of constructable solutions.

We have fostered a relationship in which CN3 has been a professional and competent partner, controlling the digital processes safely from beginning to end. This allows us to focus on what we do best as architects.
